Here at STRIDE LAB we try our best to fit our friends/customers in shoes that fit their foot properly.

In Japan it can be difficult to find shoes over the size of US10/28cm at your normal shoe shop. Fortunately for you larger feet folks, we carry up to size US12/30cm in some models.

We also understand that many ALTRA users have large feet so we carry  relatively large size shoes.

Here is a breakdown of the ALTRA shoes and sizes we carry:

Hello Everybody!

STRIDE LAB is starting an English Blog to update all of you English speakers about Stride Lab information.

First of all, STRIDE LAB is a specialty running/outdoor shop located in Tama-City, Tokyo sitting right off of the Tama river about 30 minutes from central Tokyo near Seiseki Sakuragaoka station.

It is a cute little shop Japan’s largest selection ALTRA shoes/Luna Sandals, various running products and outdoor apparel brands such as ICEBREAKER, TETON BROS, and HOUDINI.

Our mission statement at STRIDE LAB is:

“Our purpose at STRIDE LAB is to increase the level of lifetime sports and health at the local/community level. Whether it’s walking, running, or hiking, we support the local community in the lifelong ability of being able to happily enjoy and continue these activities.”

We carry many recovery products and are always happy to offer/suggest advice for running ailments.

We have weekly group runs and have a nice community here in Tama-city.

All of the staff have a conversational level of English and enjoy chatting with foreigners!

We look forward to meeting and running together!
